Autograph letter signed, dated : Brussels, 27 July 1843, to Josef Dessauer in Vienna (forwarded to Marienbad), 1843 July 27.

Saying that he got married a few days before and that he is the happiest man, that he and his wife will go to Ems and later through Switzerland and Italy to Naples, where the whole Lablache family has gathered, adding that they will visit Rome and Florence during the winter and inviting Dessauer to visit; with a one-page postscript signed, in the hand of Cecchina [Lablache] Thalberg, saying how happy she is, and how much her husband has changed, and that she will do everything in her power to make him happy.
